Project Description
🚀 Driving Excellence in Project Management & Leading Critical Energy Infrastructure ⚡
As a Senior Project Manager at Wesernetz Bremen, my role is twofold:
1️⃣ Enhancing Project Management Capabilities – Implementing and refining PM guidelines to strengthen best practices, efficiency, and strategic execution across projects.
2️⃣ Leading the High-Voltage “Umspannwerk Werderland” Project – A large-scale, complex initiative to develop a state-of-the-art substation, integrating 110 kV and 380 kV transmission lines.
💡 Why is this project critical?
The Umspannwerk Werderland is a key infrastructure project, essential for supporting the evolving energy landscape and ensuring grid stability in Northern Germany. This highly complex initiative involves:
✔ Over 10 key stakeholders, including TenneT and regulatory bodies
✔ Coordination across various technical, regulatory, and operational teams
✔ Managing high-voltage network integration for future-proof energy distribution
📈 The Challenge & Opportunity
Managing such a large-scale project means navigating technical complexities, multi-stakeholder engagement, and high regulatory standards—all while keeping a keen focus on risk mitigation, cost control, and on-time delivery.
At Wesernetz, I am proud to drive progress, enhance project governance, and lead the way in building infrastructure that powers the future.
